Yes. Any public officer with a "." email, officers from whitelisted public healthcare & officers from whitelisted public educational institutions are able to login & create letters on LetterSG.
Singpass is the only way to take attendance for now. We understand that the following groups of people might not have Singpass:
Foreigners on Work Permit
Those less than 16 years old
Elderly who donβt have or are not familiar with tech
There are no restrictions. Anyone who is able scan the QR code or access the event link is able to take attendance. Attendance can be taken even before the event has started, or after the event has ended.
EventSG has the clearance to collect and store NRICs from members of public upon check-in. All NRICs are masked before being shown to the event organizers (only the last 4 characters are revealed). However, if the event organizers do not have their attendees' full NRICs, the RSVP feature would not be usable for future events since the full unmasked NRIC is needed for the RSVP feature. Additionally, we understand that there are public officers who might not be able to collect NRICs on their work laptop.
Currently, anyone who has an event's QR code or link is able to check in to the event at any time (even if the event has not yet started or after the event has ended).
